If you would like to know more about using backing soda, then it may be a good idea to talk to a cleaning agency about how they may use it, as these contract cleaners often have a few tricks up their sleeves when it comes to interesting cleaning habits! You should be aware however, that much of the time people tend to use normal house cleaning products, like bleach and disinfectant. One of the main pros for baking soda is that it is much more natural and a lot less harmful as a chemical. It’s naturally carbonated properties are useful in the cleaning, but don’t require any compressed gas or CO2, which is another reason as to why you may find it a little better for the job.Baking soda has two main uses. Firstly it is a great aid in the cleaning of dirt, as it’s carbonated properties help to speed up the reactions between a cleaning agent and the dirt. This is why it is used in toothpaste, as it helps to whiten teeth. Secondly, the structure of the powder itself is excellent for absorbing smells, and that will be extremely useful if you are looking a neutral odor eater, that does not require environmentally harmful compressed gas, or CFC’s. Mixing baking soda with lemon or a little vinegar will make an excellent cleaning paste that can be used all over the house, form the kitchen surfaces, to the shower head. Simply mix it up so that it becomes a thick paste, and apply it. Let the paste sit for a little while, to ensure that that it has time to work away at the dirt, and then use a stiff brush to lift off the dirt that it is eating in to. Lemon and vinegar work well with baking sad as they are acids, and as the bubbles help move the acid around, so the acid eats in to the dirt, removing it from the surface. You will find that baking soda is also good for helping to unblock certain drains that may have become clogged. Try pouring a slosh of boiling water down the plughole, followed by a tablespoon or baking soda. The reaction will be quite forceful, so there can be some surprising frothing and fizzing, but it should bubble through the blockage. Try adding vinegar if it doesn’t work, and get the pipe cleaners or the plunge out if it stays stuck.Leaving a bowl of baking soda in a smelly room should help to alleviate the issue, but the best way to get rid of a smell in a room is to spread the baking soda around the place, especially if it is a carpeted room. You will find that brushing the baking soda through the carpet and then vacuuming it up will ensure that you can get rid of all of the smells as you wish.
